Mike, Jen and Pat were brilliant! A great team who communicated well prior to our visit and made us feel so welcome on arrival. Lovely to pop to the office for a chat about the local area and the history of the estate and the wonderful families that stay there each year. We met some lovely families who made our son feel so welcome when joining in their games and Easter egg hunt. Just felt such a great place to stay and that fact that allots go to charity - made it raven more enjoyable. A short walk to The White Lion pub and The Ullswater Inn - good beer and food served at both. Glad to see The Kirkstone Inn open for beer and pies once again only a short drive away. Fabulous walks from the front door - beautiful scenery and wildlife and the Estate itself very, very special. We will be back without a doubt - hopefully next Easter! Can’t fault it!

5 stars is not enough! Lishman House is perfect. It really has the wow factor but is so comfortable too. Very spacious. Incredible lakeside location, amazing walks and views from the house. The staff of the estate are exceptional and really could not be more lovely and helpful. I can’t wait to return. Best place ever in the Lakes.

Greatly surpassed expectations of myself and the group. Perfect location and brilliant to know that the chalets are there, will definitely be returning. Some great little extra additions like fresh coffee 👌
